Sarah has over a decade of personal life experience as a person with type 1 diabetes, and loves to help everyone with diabetes or prediabetes live at their best and overcome the limitations and barriers that diabetes can bring.

Sarah is a board-certified nurse practitioner and one of the co-founders of The Alpine Center for Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism, PC located in Superior, Colorado.

Sarah completed her Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science in Nursing at Columbia University in New York City, where she was part of the Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society.

For years I have struggled with living a healthy life style consistently. Somehow life always got in the way. As a result I was overweight and more significantly in recent years developed pre-diabetes.
