Helping women over 50 reverse prediabetes

Fighting prediabetes on your own is difficult and confusing. Our Reversing Prediabetes makes it easier.

You're Meant to Be the Hero in Your Own Life

Use "Be the Hero Framework" to live at your best

I believe we are all born with certain gifts and we are given certain opportunities. We desire to use these to live for a higher purpose - to create something of value for the world, to love and care for those around us. We are called to be heroes.

When we have good health, we can focus outward, showing up in life in the way that we desire. Having poor health makes us focus inward, keeping us from being the hero.

To be the hero you need to:

  • Picture the Hero. Understand your answer to the question, "What will good health allow me to do?" then take steps to keep that top of mind so it's not swept away by the busyness of life.
  • Train the Body. The hero's body was created to thrive with quality nutrition, movement, and sleep. But contrary to what the internet wants you to believe, the principles of a healthy lifestyle are straightforward and easy to learn.
  • Fight the Dragon. Like a powerful, two-headed monster, our culture and our own psychology will attack you each day, trying to keep you from following through on your good intentions. Most people try to fight back with willpower, though willpower always runs out. More powerful weapons are needed for this fight.

The Be The Hero Framework helps you know what to do to keep your body working at it's best and develop a system to follow through on your good intentions without having to rely on pure willpower.

How People Work with Me

A diagnosis of prediabetes is a signal your health is not on track, and it's a great time to make changes - before serious problems develop.

Resources available:

Conventional approaches to type 2 diabetes, viewing this as a chronic, progressive condition requiring more and more medication over time ignore the fundamental problem of "energy toxicity" and the chance to achieve remission.

Resources available:

The principles for how to lose weight are straightforward. Following through on these principles consistently is difficult. Learn the skills needed to lose weight and keep it off.

The internet is full of nutrition advice, much of it confusing and conflicting. Keto? Paleo? Mediterranean? Vegan? Blue Zones? The only healthy nutrition plan that you need to know about is the sustainable plan that will work for you.

It's Time for You to Be The Hero in Your Own Life

"I thought I knew a lot about living with diabetes after 10 years, but thanks to the instructional videos and lessons, the support from others, and the ability to ask questions outside of the time limitations of doctor visits, I am learning how to actually thrive!"

"This is a fantastic system! In addition to research based guidelines on diet, exercise and sleep, the system really focuses on how to actually do the things we know we should do. Using the techniques I learned, I have been able to make the dietary changes I knew I wanted to change, but had not yet successfully done so. "

"The daily routine I learned puts the day in perspective and adds a lot of positivity to my day. It helps keep me focus on what matters most. The questions are also of importance as they focus on gratitude and the good in your life. The question...Who may need my help today?... takes my thoughts to being sensitive to others who are struggling with their own daily issues. I have found the daily routine to be a positive way to start my day with awareness."
