What people with prediabetes say about my prediabetes coaching programs and courses
Mark
I found this course to be incredibly helpful. The fact that it is a short course is a huge plus. The modules are broken up into great bite sized chunks. I was able to pick a few days a week where I would complete a module in the morning before I went to work. It's nice to be able to start and finish an entire module including the handouts in one sitting. I also really liked the order in which the modules were presented. Having a little bit of 'why is this important' and 'find your motivation' stuff right at the beginning before jumping in to the training the body work was very effective in being able to keep motivated throughout. Also the 'Fight the dragon' module at the end was effective as well and I really liked that whole concept.

“It gave me important information and tools to help me reach my health and weight loss goals. If you take the class, you will be required to spend some time thinking about what is important to you, why that is important to you and then you are given the tools to make any changes, if necessary. I found the process to be motivating and know the training and material will continue to be useful for not just weight loss but for addressing other personal growth issues. No more fad diets for me, although I don’t think there is one I haven’t tried!”

“You are one of the few physicians I've interacted w/ who shows empathy & isn't judgmental about my weight; though you've always encouraged me to look towards changing it. The way you've treated me has been a precious gift & I truly appreciate it.

“This is a fantastic system! In addition to research based guidelines on diet, exercise and sleep, the course really focuses on how to actually do the things we know we should do. Using the techniques I learned in the course, I have been able to make the dietary changes I knew I wanted to change, but had not yet successfully done so.”

“It’s actually difficult to choose a biggest takeaway. I would have to say the fact that 70 - 80 is a winner zone is mine. I’ve spent many years shooting for 100 only to fail over and over. It’s been difficult to wrap my head around this, but Sarah has really helped me with that. Where I need more help. Well, Sarah could come and live with me. Haha! Seriously, I would say being encouraged so I don’t crash into ‘diet brain’. Recipes, meal ideas are wonderful. As someone who has spent the last 65 years on either feast or famine, this is new. What other people may see easily while planning and shopping is like learning to walk for me. You are changing my life. Seriously.”

“For years I have struggled with living a healthy life style consistently. Somehow life always got in the way. As a result I was overweight and more significantly in recent years developed pre-diabetes. Then I took Dr. Fox's program where I learned that will power is limited but with the right tools and methods you can achieve good health. As a result I have reversed prediabetes and feel that I finally have the tools that will help me sustain this life style. If you are considering the program, my advice is to invest in yourself and learn practical techniques to help you live a healthier life. I guarantee that you will not regret it!”

“I think my biggest takeaway is that it's a long ride with no room for self judgement. I truly was afraid to start working with you on my sugar levels (I came for thyroid help actually) :), because it creates an impending failure. A failure for me, for my family who wishes this for me yet I know they are just waiting for the inevitable to happen. I quit. I had a rough night the other day. Family troubles lined up with strong cravings for processed sugary foods led to a night of attempting to comfort myself with those very things. I tuned out all of the good info I have received - intentionally - and decided to feel better for a night. But, all of that good info was still there when I woke up the next day. I thought about what happened. I thought about the fact that I was not comforted, at all. That surprised me. I always thought it made me feel better, but it did not. I've never realized that before. Sorry for the lengthy explanation of my takeaway - but the idea that we are aiming for a 7-8, and that I didn't have to "get off the bus" because of one difficult night - that's my takeaway. I never quit, I didn't even fail - just learning about myself on this long journey. I really think the help I am getting is perfect. I can't think of a way for it to improve - the communication and resources provided are very helpful!”

“I am so excited to actually have the power and a workable plan to avoid diabetes! The soul searching and journaling in Dr. Topher’s program made me so aware of what really made me uniquely me and I realized that gave me power...power to be my best to do my best. Working from that mindset has made the difference. If you are even thinking of taking this program, there is a reason. Like me, you probably feel exactly like I felt...overwhelmed by the status of prediabetes. Give yourself the gift of being your best self guided by a leader who truly is compassionate about making this happen.”
Sara
“I thought I knew a lot about living with diabetes after 10 years, but thanks to the instructional videos and lessons, the support from others, and the ability to ask questions outside of the time limitations of doctor visits, I am learning how to actually thrive!”

“I’m doing great! I’ve now lost 15 pounds. Fasting blood glucose levels checked at home a few times has been below 100. Most helpful to me were the research findings you showed repeatedly showing that we can keep getting results without perfect adherence to a plan, specific tips from Sarah and other participants to help tweak what I was already doing, and support and guidance for what to do when stuck.”

"Dr. Fox’s program helped me better understand the dynamics of nutrition, exercise, and sleep and how they impact metabolism. Pulling from the sciences of weight management, sleep, and exercise, Dr. Fox uses principles of psychology
and neuroscience to help his students design a program that will work for them. The course helped me identify my goals and strategies to be successful. Dr. Fox is adept at teaching concepts and helping the student create tools and habits to be successful."

"There were days I felt I could write a book on reversing prediabetes, yet I continually failed at reversing my prediabetic status and my numbers kept rising. I couldn’t figure out why I was stuck and feeling like I was doomed. Dr. Fox immediately addressed this common problem at the start of the program and it freed me to drop the guilt I was stuck in and to move into action. This was life altering as it gave me the knowledge and power to succeed."

Next group of 20 starts January 2021
I ONLY HAVE 20 PLACES AVAILABLE
Due to the private nature of the program, we can only take 20 people into our group every 3-4 months. This is not a "do-it-yourself" video course. We work closely and privately with you to support you personally every step of the way to make sure you beat and hopefully even reverse prediabetes. Once we fill up the 20 places, we will have to close the door for a few months again.
